By booking or attending a Little Gatherings session, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participation in children's creative, nature-based and outdoor activities involves ordinary risks, including slips, trips, falls, bumps, getting wet or dirty, contact with materials, choking or ingestion, allergic reactions, uneven ground, weather conditions and interaction with other children.

I understand that activities may take place in natural outdoor environments where conditions can change.

2. PARENT/CARER RESPONSIBILITY

I understand that Little Gatherings is not a childcare or drop-off service.

I agree to remain with and actively supervise my child/children throughout the entire session.

I understand that I am responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for my child/children.

3. RELEASE & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

To the extent permitted by law, I accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participation and agree that Little Gatherings is not responsible for loss, injury or damage arising from those inherent risks.

I understand that nothing in this waiver removes any rights I may have under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws.

4. ALLERGIES & MEDICAL INFORMATION

I confirm that I will inform Little Gatherings of any relevant allergies, medical conditions or other circumstances that may affect my child's participation.

I understand that Little Gatherings activities and environments may involve food-based ingredients, natural materials, paint, playdough and other substances and cannot be guaranteed to be allergen-free.

I am responsible for bringing and administering any medication my child may require.

5. EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE

In the event of an emergency, I authorise Little Gatherings to seek appropriate emergency medical assistance for my child if I am unable to do so or if immediate assistance is reasonably considered necessary.

I understand that any medical costs associated with such care are my responsibility.

6. OUTDOOR & VENUE CONDITIONS

I understand that Little Gatherings may take place outdoors and that natural environments can involve uneven ground, grass, dirt, sand, mud, water, sunlight, wind, rain, insects and other natural conditions.

I understand that I am responsible for ensuring my child is appropriately dressed and supervised for the conditions.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT

Please select your preference:

☐ I give permission for my child/children to be photographed or filmed during Little Gatherings sessions for Little Gatherings' website, social media and promotional purposes.

☐ I do NOT give permission for my child/children to be photographed or filmed for Little Gatherings' promotional purposes.

Parents and carers may photograph their own child but should not photograph or record other children without permission.

8. AGREEMENT

By ticking the relevant boxes during booking and attending Little Gatherings, I confirm that:

☐ I have read and agree to the Little Gatherings Terms & Conditions and Parent/Carer Acknowledgement & Waiver.

☐ I understand that Little Gatherings is a parent/carer-supervised experience and that I am responsible for supervising my child/children throughout the session.

☐ I understand and accept the ordinary risks associated with participation in Little Gatherings activities and outdoor environments.

I understand that this acknowledgement applies to my current booking and future Little Gatherings sessions unless I notify Little Gatherings otherwise.
